Kickers Shoes have a strong visual heritage (primarily entrenched in 90’s Independent music when the likes of Jarvis Cocker and Ian Brown used to swagger around in them). However fast forward 20 years and the image had been much the same. This concept campaign was devised and presented to showcase a new form of ‘language’. Kick Ass played on two different levels liguistically – and focussed on the urban youth as a cool and new niche market that could perform in their footwear.
